I decided that to continue to explore new snowboard possibilities a mini tank was necessary. Thank you never summer for the wrap! Slideshow Below
Update!
School consumed quite a bit of my time these past four seasons. I am graduating in the spring (2018) with a degree in Integrative Physiology a minor in Public Health and an EMT certification. I still snowboarded near 100 day per season, coached for team summit, split-boarded in Canada, and most recently got a snowmobile to explore more snowboard possibilities. Below are scenes from Canada.

2015 season edit
The balance between working on my BA in Integrated Physiology with a minor in Public Health at CU and Snowboarding kept me the best kind of busy this year and I am extremely happy that I was still able to put together this video project. Thank you for filming and editing MAX! and thank you Snowboard Colorado for sharing! We decided a school theme was most appropriate...

One Crazy saturday
I woke up with team, cooked and ate epic bacon with the team and hit the winter park slopes with the team at 8:00 am. The snow was faster and the vibe was relaxed. My coaches and team kept me relaxed and laughing leading up to my runs, thats right it was a comp day. That saturday February 4th it was a USASA slopestyle competition. Eventually, around 11 I hit my first run. the snow was fast and the course was groomed. I kept it simple and clean, a couple 3's and some boardslides. I finished the run good, no hand drags, no cases, just clean like the bald guy on the cleaning bottles. I took some hot laps and around 12 I dropped in for my second run. I threw some bigger spins and some dirty south on the rails. Another smooth line complete. Our team collaborated at the base and checked the scoreboard. WORD, second place (first loser). An official told us awards were at 3. Too bad, I had to bounce. I said later to my team and hopped in my soobie. I had to make it to my next competition. It was a railjam at evergreen lake, echo had brought in some rails and red bull had pulled in some judges. I made it just in time to grab my bib to compete in open and to start warmin up on the course. There was a down rail, down-flat-down and a down disco box and at the very bottom there was a C rail stall. I was fairly intimidated. It was an open railjam, redbull was sponsoring it, there were 34 snowboarders, and it seemed like my whole home town of evergreen of which I was competing in came to watch. Semifinals started at 6:00 pm. The floodlights flipped on and so did the competition. It was a 45 minute jam that seemed short, not only were their only 3 lines of features their were lines of snowboarders behind each one. I only got to hit each feature once but they were all clean and somewhat technical. While the skiers were takin their semi's I warmed up in my friends car and bumped some Biggie. Eventually they called the numbers of who made finals. Sure enough I made it. I didn't think I would because there were some good riders throwin down some really good tricks. Finals started at about 8, luckily the lines were shorter. I stayed technical with some dirty south steeze on my tricks and landed something that I thought was fairly descent on each feature. It was deffinetly helpful having friends and my family there screamin for me. As finals winded down I threw my last banger trick, and landed it clean. My buddies erupted and I was stoked. The 15 minutes that proceeded the end of the railjam took an eternity. I was dancin and jumpin around with my friends and family around a fire to keep warm, and then they began to announce awards. One of my buddies won the skier and girls snowboard division I cheered and yelled for them. Then they announced mens snowboarders. They called me out! I got third place (second loser)! I grabbed my Never Summer and ran up to the podium, first and second took their places on the podium, we all high fived and then I looked at the crowd. It was awesome!!!! I got to podium in my hometown, in front of everyone whos shown support towards me, my dreams and goals. That was just last saturday, I cant wait for the next one. Thank you Mom, Dad, Dillon, Sasha, Team Summit, Steve-O, Joe, NEVER SUMMER, and everyone else who made the best saturday ever happen.

I love riding, and riding with friends, especially when they are better than me.
Jackson Hole
Me and my good friend Jake Hutcherson noticed the large influx of snow heading for Jackson hole, so we road tripped up there for the weekend and caught some unbelievable powder and an awesome time!

This season wasn't easy. After just about the first quarter of the season I shattered my collarbone and had to undergo surgery to get a plate and 13 screws put in it. This injury cost me just about three months of awesome snowboard time. The whole time I was very anxious to get back on my snowboard, and as soon as my doctor cleared me I rode the same day! Here's my season edit, its not too impressive but I pushed as hard as I could with the time I had to get something done and to have fun riding!
This is a sweet little edit from late season A-Basin with some good school buddies Stev-O and Joe. My part is last (but hopefully not least).
Big Shout out to Team Summit. If your lookin to learn to ride, there is no better way to go. Thanks to my coaches Dillon and Sasha!
